Culdearn House
Formerly the home of the Earl of Seafield’s family, Culdearn House is a traditional Scottish granite house which has retained many of its original period features dating from 1860. Set back from the road and looking out to gounds of 3/4 acre on the edge of woodland, but within easy walking distance of the centre of Grantown, the House has that special combination of atmosphere and personal service that brings guests from all over Scotland and further afield back time and time again.
Ideally situated for touring in the Cairngorms and in the heart of Speyside whisky country, the House is the perfect base for visiting the many attractions in the area including the famous RSPB Osprey at Loch Garten and Capercaillies, Fishing on the River Spey, Riding the steam train, exploring castles or a trip on the Furnicula to the top of Cairngorm or ski-ing in nearby Aviemore.
Here at Culdearn we have 6 large superior en-suite bedrooms all individually furnished with beautiful bathrooms. Full Scottish breakfast including a variety of fish and fruit are available each morning. We also have an award winning restaurant where we serve freshly prepared food on a daily basis and this, together with fine wines, whiskies and log fires make it the perfect place to stay. Open all year.
